Should be dilluted how lemon juice if you’re using it to highlight blonde hair?

My blonde hair keeps getting darker, Especially in the winter, so I was thinking of using some lemon juice, but how dilluted Should it be? Do I put some lemon juice and water in a spray bottle spray it on and thats it? Will it severely dry out my hair or make the colors uneven?
